Yaz Soon: National Shrine of St. Joseph
The National Shrine of St. Joseph is well-known for its life-like replica of Jesus and his 12 apostles during 'The Last Supper'. The shrine was greatly renovated but it tells so much history. From the early Spanish colonization until this present day. It was here where missionaries and priests preached Christianity. It became the center of the Spanish authority.
Today, it is where people pray and sing their faith. This is also where the Translacion/Panagtagbo happens every year (a day before Sinulog).
The National Shrine of St. Joseph stands still and strong. So do we Mandauehanons!
